| Hey everyone, I guess it is time to update. It sure has been a while since I have been on here. Anthony and I are still living in Virginia although he is considering a new job up in Northern Virginia. I started a new job 3 months ago at a new hospital in the ER. It has been very challenging and a big learning curve but I have survived so far. :)
Right now there is not a lot going on with us. We are both working on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so guess we will both have to celebrate on another day. We are planning on going to KY for New Years Eve so that should be a lot of fun. Anyway just a little update. Have a great day. |

| It is once again snowing here in Viginia. In the last two weeks we have had @ 30 inches of snow. Which is a lot for this part of the state. I don't mind the snow as long as my electricity stays on. Saturday morning I came home from my shift at the hospital and I had no lights, so I had to go over to Anthonys grandparents to take a shower and get some sleep. I am finally working the night shift which could not come fast enough for me. The getting up at 5:00am 3 times a week was not agreeing with me at all. Now I get to go to work at a sane hour of the day. Although I am sure some of you would disagree with me :) For those of you who are wondering what area of nursing I am in. I work on the Cardiology floor at my hospital. Interesting work but not where I want to stay. I am hoping to go to the ER within the next couple of years. In January Anthony finished with his Paramedic. Now he has to finish his Degree and he will be finished with college for a while. One of our goals is for both of us to be finished with our college Degrees before we have children. That is part of the reason why we have almost been married for 8 years and no children :) We both feel strongly about setting a good example for any future children we may have, about how important a good education is. A favorite quote of mine is that you are never to old to learn something new. |

| Just survived my first day at work. Tommorrow I have to go back for more orientation. Then Wednesday and Thursday I have to go to Lynchburgh for computer training. Sunday is my first actual day on the floor. I am tired and stressed out and I need to go make dinner. So I will catch up later. |

| You know things are bad when you wake up and the first thing that you think you hear is an IV pump beeping. Or your dreams consist of medications that you are trying to give. Currently I am at St. Marys hospital for my precepting and everything is going well. We have a wide variety of patients ranging from hospice to cancer to a little bit of everything. I usually do not get home from the hospital until about 2:00 am and usually get to bed at around 3:30 am. Anyway I will post more at a later date. |
